Graduate Center opens in Twin Cities
Saturday, September 26, 2009
Professional-level graduate programs are now being offered by St. Cloud State in the new Twin Cities Graduate Center in Maple Grove. The flagship programs include a master’s in business administration (MBA), a master’s in regulatory affairs and services, and classes leading to degree programs in higher education administration and college counseling and student development and licensure tracks for superintendent, principal, special education director and community education director.
The MBA program, offered in the Twin Cities since 2003, outgrew the Maple Grove facility provided by St. Cloud State alumnus Russ Hagen, chairman and founder of Data Recognition Corporation. The Regulatory Affairs & Services program, which debuted in 2007, moves over from the North Hennepin Community College campus in Brooklyn Park. A master’s in engineering management also may soon be offered at the center.
An October grand opening is planned for the Twin Cities Graduate Center, which is near the intersection of I-494 and Bass Lake Road.
