SCSU Today Leading Wells FargoSaturday, September 1, 2007 John G. Stumpf, 53, who earned his finance degree from SCSU in 1976, has been named chief executive of the nation’s fifth-largest banking and financial services company, Wells Fargo & Co. The native of Pierz, who will retain the title of president, replaces Dick Kovacevich, who will remain chairman. Wells Fargo has more than 6,000 stores and 160,000 employees. |
