SCSU Now Tonic Sol-fa to headline June 26 Lemonade Art Fair Sunday, May 11, 2008 A cappella group Tonic Sol-fa and gospel vocalist Robert Robinson will
perform at the June 26 Lemonade Art Fair. The art, crafts and entertainment extravaganza runs 11 a.m. to 9
p.m. on campus grounds surrounding Atwood Memorial Center. The 35th annual event serves this year as the opening of St. Cloud’s Granite City Days. Tonic Sol-fa is a Minnesota-based group reknowned for staging incredible performances with just four voices and a tambourine. The group’s television credits include a TODAY Show appearance on NBC and a public television Christmas special. Robert Robinson is an award-winning gospel singer who has worked with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Prince, Andrae Crouch, Barry Manilow and Lorie Line. He also is executive director and artistic director of the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir. String musician Paul Imholte will provide strolling music on fiddle, guitar, dulcimer and more. The schedule: - Art and craft vendors – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Little Lemons Art and Entertainment Area – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Concert with Tonic Sol-fa and special guest Robert Robinson – Noon
- Granite City Days Opening Ceremony with the Mayor’s Rock-on Awards and a performance by Robert Robinson – 7 p.m.
