Outlook Active teacherSaturday, June 27, 2009 Patty (Hartmann) Mollberg ’84, Detroit Lakes, now in her 24th year of teaching, received the 2008 Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year Award from the Minnesota Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. During her 24 years of teaching, now at Detroit Lakes Middle School, she has taught K-12 health and physical education courses and coached volleyball, track and tennis. She has taken leadership roles in such fitness activities as Shoot for the Stars Activity Day, the Lakes Area Jump Rope Club and the Hot Hands Basketball Club. |
