Saturday, Aug. 3 will put an exclamation point on St. Cloud's summer.

"Fifth Avenue Fest" and "Takin' It to the Streets" are two community events with St. Cloud State connections and support.

Fifth Avenue Fest

From 1-4 p.m., Fifth Avenue Fest will celebrate the thoroughfare’s place in St. Cloud’s past, present and future. Activities include tours of historic buildings, homes and churches, as well as a Farmers’ Market and an exhibit about the Community Garden. The exhibit, which premieres during Fifth Avenue Fest, is in the St. Cloud State Welcome Center.

In addition, look for children’s activities at Barden Park and lots of food and fun along the way. The event is managed by the St. Cloud Historic and Neighborhood Preservation Association and St. Cloud State. View the news release (PDF).

Takin' It to the Streets
