Browerville sophomore Scott Lieser (9-0) pitches in the May 19 NCAA tournament victory over Augustana College.
Husky Baseball plays Minnesota State, Mankato (39-11) 4:30 p.m. today at Faber Field, St. Cloud, in the second round of the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament.
Pat Dolan's 43-9 team won its first-round game May 19, defeating Augustana College 7-1 May 19 at Faber.
Sophomore Scott Lieser (Browerville) scattered six hits to improve his season mark to 9-0.
Sophomore Jordan Smith (Willmar) went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Sophomore Brian Hansen (Cold Spring) went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Senior Kent Koch (Loretto) went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, an RBI and a two walks.
Freshman Travis Enger (Maple Grove) went 4-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

The six-team, double-elimination tournament ends this weekend at Faber Field. The winner advances to the May 28-June 4 NCAA Division II Championship in Cary, N.C.
