Brianda Cediel (center) is the keynote speaker at Student Research Colloquium 2011, April 19 in Atwood Memorial Center.
Research by nearly 500 students will be presented at the Student Research Colloquium (SRC) April 19 in Atwood Memorial Center.
The more than 240 projects range from a paper on forecasting housing bubbles to a computer forensics demonstration.

Presenting a keynote address at the SRC will be Brianda Cediel, founder and executive director of Hands Across the World, a non-profit that assists refugees and immigrants in Central Minnesota.
Her address is set for 12:30 p.m. in the Cascade Room.
Cediel, who earned a bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State in 2001, will discuss lessons learned during her 28-year career teaching people from varied national and ethnic backgrounds.
SRC features students, faculty and community members collaborating in scholarly and artistic activities across a range of disciplines, including creative arts, mathematics, business, social science, humanities, physical and life sciences, and engineering.
Parking is free on streets adjacent to campus and a dollar an hour in the Fourth Avenue Parking Ramp.
