The bond between St. Cloud State University and community will be on display at “Celebrating Connection: Showcasing Student & Community Collaboration” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14 at the North Glacier Room and Ballroom of Atwood Memorial Center.
The event will feature displays from collaborations between campus members and community partners, showcasing the work of various community initiatives, student organizations and academic disciplines. Guests are encouraged to engage students to learn more about the projects.
Community collaborations on campus take a variety of forms, including curricular and co-curricular volunteering, field experience, internships and service learning. Community engagement is one of the four academic pillars at St. Cloud State and the large number of collaborations between campus and community reflects that importance.
