CEO and Career Step will host two informational open houses March 16. The first is 1 p.m. at the St. Cloud Public Library and the second is 7 p.m. at the St. Cloud State Welcome Center.

Two informational open houses Wednesday, March 16 are hosted by Corporate Education and Outreach (CEO) in the St. Cloud State Center for Continuing Studies and Career Step, a leading healthcare education company, to discuss four online courses offered in the medical transcription and medical coding and billing field.

The first open house is 1 p.m. at the St. Cloud Public Library, 1300 West St. Germain Street in St. Cloud. The second is 7 p.m. at the St. Cloud State Welcome Center, 355 5th Ave. S., St. Cloud.

“A major focus of CEO’s mission is to help individuals expand their job skills and this partnership with Career Step allows us the opportunity to offer more career education and training opportunities,” said Gail Ruthland, CEO director of training. “Students who enroll in these online courses will have the flexibility to train entirely on their own schedules, increasing the career training options of many, especially non-traditional students.”

“Through our partnership with CEO, students will gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the growing fields of medical transcription and medical coding and billing.” said Justin Pettit, Career Step vice president of business services.

Career Step also is offering free textbooks and shipping for those who register for any of the four courses by March 31.
