D.C. science expo

St. Cloud State University is one of 75 colleges and universities selected as exhibitor and partner at the inaugural USA Science & Engineering Festival from Oct. 10-24, 2010 in Washington, D.C.
The festival is the country’s first national science festival and is a collaborative effort of more than 500 leading science and engineering organizations aiming to reignite the interest of science and engineering in the nation’s youth.
The Festival will culminate in a two-day Expo held Oct. 23-24 at the National Mall in Washington D.C. All facets of science and engineering can be explored through hundreds of free hands-on activities, 750 exhibits spanning aerospace to robotics, and over 40 science shows on three different stages.
Festival corporate sponsors include, among others, Lockheed Martin, the Life Technologies Foundation, ResMed Foundation, Northrop Grumman Corporation, The Dow Chemical Company, while media sponsors include Popular Science, Science Illustrated, Scientific American, and Popular Mechanics.
St. Cloud State is one of more than 75 Colleges and Universities invited to participate including, Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Princeton University, Stanford and the University of California, Berkeley.
