2nd annual STEM Summit

The second annual STEM Summit is 8 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 in the Atwood Center Cascade Ballroom.


Students, parents and local educators will come together with business and higher education leaders to build regional coalitions and promote science, technology, engineering and math education at the second annual STEM Summit.

The conference is 8 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 in the Atwood Center Cascade Ballroom.

The STEM Summit will connect Minnesota’s businesses and higher education communities to Minnesota students in grades seven through 12. Interactive exhibits will discuss STEM coursework and careers. 

Tentative schedule:

  • 8 - 8:45 a.m.  Students arrive and register at St. Cloud State University
  • 9 - 9:30 a.m.  Welcome message and remarks
  • 9:30 – 11: 45 a.m. Students tour exhibits and interactive displays presented by business’ and higher education and Planetarium show/tour
  • 1 p.m.  Lunch
  • 1 – 1:30 p.m.  Depart campus.

There is no charge for this event, however, transportation will not be provided. Parking in the St. Cloud State parking ramp is available for a nominal fee.
