A new art gallery in the St. Cloud State Education Building will hold an open house on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. - noon.  All are welcome.

Forty-six students from Talahi Elementary, Clearview Elementary, Madison Elementary, Apollo High School and Bethlehem Lutheran Preschool, ranging from preschool to grade 12, will have their artwork featured in the gallery’s first exhibit.

The gallery was established as part of the College of Education’s learning environment enhancement initiatives created in memory of Vera Russell ‘40, a private donor and St. Cloud State alumna who has made generous contributions to support many aspects of the College.

Featuring student artwork reminds faculty and prospective teachers alike that their work is truly important and brings both joy and a powerful community connection to the building every day.

The St. Cloud State College of Education offers more than 65 major, minor and licensure programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. The college’s faculty of more than 100 is committed to helping prepare students for successful careers in education and other professional service sectors. And because the programs hold nearly every accreditation possible, students know they are going to earn a high quality education.
