Indian Issues: Odawa White at the AIC

Odawa White will discuss current issues in American Indian communities 7 p.m. Nov. 20 at the American Indian Center (AIC).

White is the new associate director of the AIC at St. Cloud State University. He previously worked seven years as a retention coordinator and American Indian student advisor for the Office of Multicultural Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

White is an enrolled member of the Lac Court Oreilles Ojibwe, a band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in northwest Wisconsin, about 90 miles south of Duluth, Minn. He serves on the board of regents for the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Community College in Hayward, Wis. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
