A book drive and a photo contest will highlight Nov. 9-16 International Education Week (IEW) observances at St. Cloud State.

The annual celebration of education and exchange among nations is sponsored by the Center for International Studies (CIS) and the federal departments of State and Education.

CIS staff members are promoting the collection of at least 1,000 new-and-used books during November. The books will be given to Worldwide Book Drive, a Utah-based philanthropic business that distributes books to combat illiteracy.

Book drop-off boxes are located in Lawrence Hall, Atwood Memorial Center, Miller Center and Administrative Services. View the Campus Map.

Entries in the Education Abroad Photo Contest will be displayed Nov. 9-16 in Atwood Memorial Center. Vote for your favorite photos. Contest winners announced Dec. 6. View last year's contest photos

Campus internationalization efforts earned St. Cloud State the 2013 Simon Award.
