Passport to the World
Thursday, November 8, 2012
Passport to the World, a family learning experience geared toward children, is 4-5:40 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Atwood Memorial Center ballroom.
The event is free and open to the community.
This year’s theme, Around the World in 100 Minutes, will give participants a glimpse of other cultures through dance and musical performances and hands-on activities.
Participants will receive a "passport" to get a "visa" stamp from each booth they visit, as a memento of their cultural travels.
Passport to the World is sponsored by the International Student Association, which hosts programs to improve international understanding and foster appreciation of other cultures.
St. Cloud State has more than 1,000 international students from more than 80 nations.
