Astronomy Public Nights

Standing by the planetarium projector is Annette Lee, planetarium director and assistant professor of astronomy and physics.

Register to participate in Astronomy Public Nights 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. March 14 in the SCSU Planetarium.

SCSU Planetarium shows are “The Solar System” at 7 p.m. and “Hubble” at 8 p.m. The recently refurbished planetarium is in the Robert H. Wick Science Building.

The event is free. To reserve seats, email planetarium@stcloudstate.edu or call the Physics and Astronomy office at 320-308-2011 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Email reservations should include show date, time and theme of show requested, as well as name of contact person, phone number or email address of contact person and number of people attending. A maximum of five seats can be reserved. Visit the reservation information page.

Annette Lee, assistant professor of astronomy and physics, is the planetarium director. Jim Simonson, is the planetarium technician.
