St. Cloud State University’s Herberger Business School will host a Master of Business Administration information session at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Twin Cities Graduate Center in Maple Grove.

A presentation by MBA Director Michele Mumm will be followed by a question and answer session featuring a panel consisting of a MBA professor and current MBA students.

Herberger Business School’s Maple Grove program is one of only two MBA programs — the other from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management — in the Twin Cities that has been Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited for more than 25 years.  The accreditation was recently reaffirmed in 2009.  Of the more than 2,400 business programs in the United States, only 20 percent have the AACSB International accreditation distinction.

St. Cloud State’s Maple Grove MBA program consists of a hands-on curriculum uniquely combining classroom learning with real-world applications.  A series of 11 courses —taught by distinguished faculty with Ph.D., D.B.A., or J.D. degrees from the nation’s leading graduate schools — are required for degree completion.  An innovative schedule permits part-time students to earn a MBA in 26 months.  Small cohort groups of 20-25 students earn their degree together while attending class one night per week.
