Wednesday, March 9, 2011
Discussions between St. Cloud State University and the St. Cloud Technical and Community College will continue this Thursday in regards to how the two institutions can partner more effectively.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Welcome Center and will conclude around 1 p.m.
There will be three small group discussions occurring simultaneously between 10 and 11:30 a.m. involving some 40 administrators and staff
The goal is to establish a closer relationship between the two institutions that would lead to not only the creation of an easier student transition, but also a seamless transfer process that is more student friendly and focuses toward student needs.
“We hope that this will enhance the communication channels for future ongoing collaboration that will go beyond just the administrators and staff and will also include collaborative meetings between our faculties from various academic disciplines,” said Mahmoud Saffari, associate vice president for Enrollment Management at St. Cloud State.
