St. Cloud State African Students Association will host a benefit for Haiti Feb. 20 in the Ritsche Auditorium.


“Unity Night: Healing Haiti,” a cultural night with all proceeds going to Healing Haiti, is Saturday, Feb. 20 in the Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall. The St. Cloud State African Students Association will host the benefit.

Healing Haiti is a mission of that works to help the impoverished people of Haiti by providing them with water, food, housing and education. For more information about the organization visit

The event festivities and entertainment will include music, educational and inspirational speakers.

All are invited to attend. Admission for the event is $5. Doors open at 6:30.

The African Student Association is a student organization that works to promote and share African culture with the St. Cloud State community.

St. Cloud State offers a variety of student organizations that encourage student involvement on campus.  The organizations give students the opportunity to network with students who have similar interests, build experience for their resumes, gain skills for future employment and take a proactive approach to better the campus and its image.
