Moment of silence

St. Cloud State University will join with others throughout the state in sounding 26 bells across campus at 9:30 this morning to mark a moment of silence in honor of each life that was taken far too soon at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., last week.

One of those bells will be for six-year-old Charlotte Helen Bacon, the daughter of alumna Joann Hagen Bacon ’90, who graduated from St. Cloud State with a major in mass communications and a minor in political science.
