Sarah Louise Stalker, Hudson, Wis., will bid the Class of 2011 adieu with her commencement address about disproving the impossibilities in life.
St. Cloud State's Fall Commencement is 2 p.m. Dec. 18 in Halenbeck Hall Gymnasium.
Stalker is a College of Science and Engineering graduate earning her bachelor's degree in meteorology and hydrology with cum laude honors.
She played two seasons of Husky Softball, captaining the 2009 squad and recording a team-best 37 RBI.
She is the daughter of Randy and Denise Stalker, Hudson, Wis.
Registered to participate in the commencement ceremony are 525 undergraduate students, 67 graduate students and two doctoral students. Visit the Commencement website.
The Wind Ensemble will provide music for the ceremony. Conducting will be Rik K. Hansen, director of bands and professor of conducting and musicology.
The processionals will be Richard Strauss’ "Also Sprach Zarathustra" and “Konigsmarch."
The recessional will be Alfred Reed’s “Alleluia Laudamus Te.”

President Earl H. Potter III will deliver welcome remarks and confer the degrees.
Mayor David A. Kleis '89 will share greetings from the City of St. Cloud.
Michael Vekich, a trustee, will offer greetings from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system.
Speaking on behalf of more than 100,000 alumni worldwide will be Paula Foley '85 '88, president of the Alumni Association.
Closing the ceremony will be Wanda Overland, vice president for student life and development.
St. Cloud State is the largest institution in the 31-school Minnesota Colleges and Universities system.
