Passport to the World Sunday
Tuesday, November 8, 2011
St. Cloud State University, in partnership with the International Students Association, will host the annual Passport to the World 4-6 p.m., Nov. 13 in its Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom.
This year’s theme is ‘Games, Dance, Music.’ Through interactive displays and activities, organizers will teach participants about the games, music and dance around the world.
Although everyone is welcome to attend, the event is geared toward children. Participants receive a ‘passport’ to collect ‘visa’ stamps from each booth they visit, which they can carry home to remind them of their trip around the world. The event is an effort to present how culturally and socially similar countries across the world are.
Passport to the World is a free event open to the community. For additional information, contact the Center for International Studies at firstname.lastname@example.org or 320-308-4287.
