The Regulatory Affairs and Services (RAS) master's degree program is accepting applications for its Fall 2011 cohort.
Apply by Aug. 26.
The program educates professionals to lead medical device companies through the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and international regulatory processes that ensure new medical devices are safe and effective.
Minnesota has nearly 600 FDA-approved medical device manufacturers, including industry heavyweights Medtronic, Boston Scientific and St. Jude Medical.
The RAS program targets working people with evening and weekend classes at St. Cloud State's Twin Cities Graduate Center in Maple Grove. The program uses the cohort model, in which a core group of students cooperate in a degree program, beginning to end.
When it debuted in 2007, the RAS program was the first of its kind in the nation. To keep pace with the ever-changing world of medical devices, the program has been updated with new and revised courses. View the course descriptions.
Classes are taught by experts in the fields of medical device regulation, clinical trials, quality control, FDA reimbursement and FDA law. Meet the course instructors.
