'High Heels, Lipstick and Sex'

Women on Wednesday presents “High Heels, Lipstick and Sex” at noon April 6 at the Atwood Theatre.

Nothing will be off-limits as the contradictions of social messages facing young women and how they attempt to deal with these complexities will be discussed at the Women on Wednesday presentation “High Heels, Lipstick and Sex” at noon April 6 at the Atwood Theatre. 

Panelists, comprised of employees at the Women’s Center at St. Cloud State University, include:

• Amy Vang, Asian American student majoring in mathematics education.

• Camaya Wallace, social responsibility graduate student. She is conducting a professional development-independent study with the Women’s Center.

• Jenna Stammen, women’s studies major, president of Women’s Action and future co-chair of Liberation or Bust.

• Kacy Bjornson, senior majoring in psychology. She has led the annual Liberation or Bust program, and is vice president of Women’s Action.

• Erin Schaefer, graduate assistant for the Women’s Center and studying for a master’s in information technology. She is co-adviser for Women’s Action and works with her family business, The Mindful Heart.

The event is free and open to the public. The Women On Wednesday series is presented by the Women’s Center at St. Cloud State.
