Comment on staff reorg

The steering group managing reorganization of administrative/staff functions is hosting three forums on its recommendations.

Administrative/staff reorganization, in concert with academic reorganization, are expected to help trim $14 million from the St. Cloud State budget that takes effect July 1.

Faculty and staff are invited to comment at these open forums:

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 7, Atwood Ballroom

2 p.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 8, Atwood Ballroom

10:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Dec. 8, Atwood Glacier Room

The Academic Support, Administrative & Operating Program & Service Appraisal & Organization (ASAOPSA) is the formal name of the steering group. Meet the group members.

Below is a time line for the administrative/staff reorganization process:

Dec. 3: Recommendations released to the campus community

Dec. 7-8: Open forums to gather feedback on recommendations

Jan. 3: Revised recommendations published to campus

Jan. 6-7: Second round of open forums on recommendations

Jan. 12-13: Student informational forums

Jan. 14: Final recommendations submitted to President Potter

Jan. 28: President Potter announces reorganization decisions
