'Bach to Bloch' performance

Selections from Johann Sebastian Bach are among the songs interpreted by Cellist Greg Nelson and pianist Jenya Trubnikava at "Bach to Bloch" 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.

The cello is the choice instrument for “Bach to Bloch” a St. Cloud State University faculty performance 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the Performing Arts Center Ruth Grant Recital Hall.

Cellist Greg Nelson and pianist Jenya Trubnikava will perform selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Pezzo Capriccioso,” Bach’s “Cello Suite in C major” and “Prayer: from the Jewish life” by Ernesto Bloch.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for non-St. Cloud State students and seniors, and free with St. Cloud State ID. Tickets are available at the door. A portion of ticket proceeds will go toward music student scholarships.
