News Release Collaborative choir concertThursday, April 15, 2010 "High Impact Harmony," a collaborative concert between the Great Northern Union Chorus and St. Cloud State University’s Men’s Choir, is 7:30 p.m. on April 29 at Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall. Founded in 1985, the Great Northern Union Chorus performs a cappella pieces that focus on precision harmony. The 80-voice choir is based out of the Twin Cities area and has performed across the United States and Canada. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free with a St. Cloud State I.D. St. Cloud State’s Department of Music is an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music and awards more than $50,000 in scholarships to students annually. Its 26 faculty members teach and represent a variety of disciplines including music education, history, theory, composition, jazz, pedagogy, music technology, conducting, ethnomusicology and performance. << Previous | Archive | Next >>
