Famous football coach to speak April 8

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Herman Boone, the man portrayed by Denzel Washington in the film "Remember the Titans", will speak 7:30 p.m. April 8 in Ritsche Auditorium about lessons and benefits of diversity.

Boone was the football coach when T.C. Williams High School, Alexandria, Va., was desegregated.

Tickets, which are $5, are a available at scsutickets.com. Tickets are free with an SCSU ID.

The presentation is sponsored by the University Program Board's National Events Committee.
