Online registration ends April 13 for Earth Day races

ST. CLOUD, Minn - Online registration ends April 13 for the 2009 Earth Day running events at St. Cloud State University.

The April 17-18 Earth Day Weekend includes a half marathon, half-marathon relay, 20-miler, five-kilometer walk/run and one-kilometer youth run.

• Course managers have laid out out a new race, the Scheels Eco-Challenge 20 Miler
• Some 40 exhibitors are expected at the Health and Fitness Expo
• Green Mill Restaurant chefs are planning a Pasta Feed
• BLEND is promoting the Youth Run and Kids Expo (PDF) with a goal of 1,000 participants
  

In its 10th year, the Earth Day Run Weekend is managed by CasMar Events, West Fargo, and hosted by St. Cloud State University, which is located along the Mississippi River in central St. Cloud.

Headquarters is the Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. Races start and finish on campus and give participants a glimpse of the city. View the course maps. View a photo slide show from last year's event.
