News Release Ebony Night to celebrate change Feb. 7Wednesday, January 21, 2009 ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State University’s Council for African American Students (CAAS) invites everyone to attend Ebony Night at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in the Atwood Ballroom. This year’s event, themed "Breaking Barriers, Making Change," includes guest speaker Marcellus Davis, live performances and traditional soul food. Tickets are $6 for students and $10 for members of the community. Tickets also can be purchased the week of Jan. 26 in the Atwood Memorial Center for $5. CAAS supports African American students by teaching organizational and leadership skills to its members, while educating the campus community through a number of yearly events, including College Day, Black Poetry Night, Time 2 Talk, Black History Month and more.
