Earth Day race volunteers

The Earth Day Half Marathon starts and ends on the St. Cloud State campus.

Organizers of the April 19-20 Earth Day Run are seeking volunteers to staff Central Minnesota's largest athletic event.

Sign-up to help runners and spectators have a successful experience at St. Cloud State.

St. Cloud State's five-event running weekend is sponsored by Scheels, a 24-store sporting goods chain headquartered in Fargo, N.D. Other sponsors include BLEND, Coborn's, St. Cloud Suburu and Bernick's.

Volunteers are needed for these tasks:

• Traffic control
• Registration / Packet pickup
• Finish line
• Aid stations
• Clean-up

Register to run in the events: 1K, 5K Corporate Challenge, 5K, Half Marathon Relay and Half Marathon.
