News Release Diversity Job & Internship FairFriday, January 4, 2013 Students and alumni are invited to the Diversity Job and Internship Fair 1-4 p.m. Jan. 25 in Atwood Memorial Center. Nearly 80 employers from sectors such as business, science and engineering, health and human services, education, non-profits, government and communications are attending. View the list of employers (PDF), which includes multinationals like 3M and Hormel Foods, mid-size companies like Digi-Key and small firms such as Hiawatha Academies. View the fair poster (PDF). Students seeking internships and entry-level positions should dress professionally and bring a resume. First- and second-year students are encouraged to attend because employers are offering part-time and summer employment. The fair is free. No registration is required. The fair is sponsored by Career Services, Multicultural Student Services, American Indian Center, LGBT Resource Center and Student Disability Services.
