Campus and community are invited to the renovated Case-Hill residence hall for an open house 3:30 - 5 p.m. Sept. 18. A $12 million renovation project, begun in January, recently returned 326 beds to service Fall Semester, ahead of schedule and under budget, according to university officials. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 3:45 p.m. Parking is free on streets adjacent to campus or a dollar per hour at the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp. Case-Hill bathrooms are larger and offer great privacy, according to John Frischmann, construction facilities coordinator. New air-handling equipment has greatly improved air quality and control over room temperatures, according to Dan Pedersen, director of residential life.
