Missing student found dead

It is with great sadness that St. Cloud State shares this St. Cloud Police Department notice about the death of a student. The report was issued following an extensive search on campus for Ka Vang, a senior biomedical sciences student from Milwaukee:

About 12:30 p.m. Dec. 22, Ka Vang was located deceased in the 600 block of 1st Avenue South on the SCSU Campus. The cause and manner of death are currently being investigated by the St. Cloud Police Department's Investigations Unit and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office. At this time the death does not appear to be criminal in nature. Reporting was delayed on this due to the notification of next of kin.

Vang lived in Hill Hall, a St. Cloud State residence hall. She was 22 at the time of her death.
