Conference cancelled

The June 22 Summer Leadership Institute for Women in Higher Education is cancelled.

"Due to low enrollment in the 2011 Summer Leadership Institute for Women in Higher Education, it is with great regret that we inform you that the event is being cancelled," said Christine Imbra, professor of higher education administration.

Nancy “Rusty” Barcelo, one of the leading Chicanas in American higher education administration circles, was scheduled to keynote the conference in Atwood Memorial Center.

The conference theme was "Female Leaders Embracing Diversity in Higher Education."

Said Imbra: "Thank you for your support and understanding, and we hope to see you all at the 2012 Summer Institute."
