News Release Cargill security chief to speakTuesday, February 8, 2011
Cargill's information security executive will speak noon Feb. 16 in Centennial Hall room 100. Chad Mead manages information technology security for Cargill, Inc., a Minnetonka-based multinational that produces and markets food, agricultural, financial and industrial products and services. Founded in 1865, Cargill is a privately held company that employs about 131,000 people in 66 countries. It's 2010 revenues were more than $100 billion. Mead's career includes stints at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bank One, TEKsystems and CompuServe. The free public event is sponsored by the Information Systems Club, a St. Cloud State student organization. The Information Systems Club enhances professional development through resume building, informative speakers, networking and other career opportunities. Free parking is available on streets adjacent to campus. Parking in the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp is a dollar per hour.
