News Release Freeze-a-Thon fundraiserTuesday, February 2, 2010 The Delta Epsilon Chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity will host their annual Freeze-a-Thon fundraiser Feb. 15-19, in the Atwood Mall. The event will raise money for Phi Kappa Tau’s national philanthropy, Association of Hole-in-the-Wall Camps. Actor Paul Newman, and Phi Kappa Tau alumnus, founded the network of camps in order to give children with life-threatening illnesses the chance to have a normal and fun summer camp experience, free of charge. Past Freeze-a-Thon’s have garnered over $2,000, all of the proceeds going to the support the Hole-in-the-Wall Camps. Also participating are the Kappa Phi Omega and Delta Phi Epsilon sororities. The event will continuously run, 24 hours, Monday through Friday. Donations are greatly appreciated. << Previous | Archive | Next >>
