Snow kiting on Mille Lacs

Imagine snow kiting on one of Minnesota's largest and most beautiful lakes, with the wind in your hair and the sun reflecting off 132,516 acres of snow and ice.

Outdoor Endeavors is teaming with MN Adventure to offer two introductory snow kiting workshops at Lake Mille Lacs.

Session I is Jan. 29-31. Session II is Feb. 26-28.

The cost is $75 per person, including transportation, lodging, meals, snow kiting equipment and instruction. Limit six participants per session. Participants supply their own alpine skis or snowboard.

Instruction will include basic principles of kiting, equipment, safety gear and techniques.
