Littlewolf speaks

Nevada Littlewolf speaks noon Oct. 21 in Atwood Theatre.

Activist, organizer and politician Nevada Littlewolf will share her life story noon Oct. 31 in Atwood Theatre.

A member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, Littlewolf is an advocate for her community, for American Indian people and for youth. 

Littlewolf is a city council member in Virginia, on Minnesota's Iron Range.

She is a rural leadership field organizer for the White House Project, a New York City non-profit that advances women's leadership in all areas of American life, including electoral politics.

Littlewolf's presentation is part of Women on Wednesday, a speaker series sponsored by the Women's Center. Learn more about Women on Wednesday.
