Oct. 15 is the deadline for applying to study spring semester 2010 at Alnwick Castle in northern England. St. Cloud State has maintained a branch campus at the 900-year-old castle for 28 years. Directing study during the spring term will be Jean Hoff, associate professor of earth and atmospheric sciences. Learn more:
The castle has been used as a location by the film industry, appearing in "Elizabeth," "Robin Hood" and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Visit the Study Abroad section of the Center for International Studies Web site for more information. Each year more than 450 St. Cloud State students study abroad.
