Greetings from the St. Cloud State University Choral Program

We’re pleased to invite you to participate in the second annual “Brothers Sing On – A Community Sing For Men” men’s choir festival on Saturday, April 27, 2013. It will be a great day for men of all ages.

Men from ages15 to 70 will sing together, eat together, have fun together, and end the day with some wonderful music.  This year’s participants will spend the day rehearsing and singing in a massed choir conducted by Mr. Al Hawkins, Mr. Jeff Dahl, Dr. Matthew Ferrell, and working with our special guest ensemble, Cantus!

The massed choir will rehearse during the day and sing three selections during the Grand Finale Concert.  The cost is $30.00 per singer and that includes an SCSU “Brothers Sing On” t-shirt and lunch in Garvey Commons.  We will be singing the following:

In addition, interested singers will also have the opportunity to receive a private lesson with the St. Cloud State voice faculty. At the end of the day, some of the students may be selected to perform a prepared solo in the Grand Finale Concert.
