We're pleased to invite you to participate in the fourth annual “Brothers Sing On – A Community Sing For Men” men’s choir festival on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
Men of all ages (15 to 70 and beyond) will spend the day singing, eating, playing and performing together in SCSU's beautiful Ritsche Auditorium. This year’s participants have the opportunity to work in a massed choir conducted by Mr. Al Hawkins, Dr. Matthew Ferrell, Mr. Mark Johnson, and Mr. Steve Hoemberg.

The massed choir will rehearse during the day and sing four selections during the Grand Finale Concert. The cost is $30.00 per singer and that includes an SCSU “Brothers Sing On” t-shirt and lunch in Garvey Commons. Cost for SCSU students is $10.00 and includes an SCSU “Brothers Sing On” t-shirt. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own music and we will be singing the following:
In addition, interested singers will also have the opportunity to receive a private lesson with the St. Cloud State voice faculty. At the end of the day, some of the students may be selected to perform a prepared solo in the Grand Finale Concert.
10:00 am: Registration in the PAC lobby
10:30 am - 12:30 pm: Optional lessons with voice faculty
10:30 am - 10:45 am: Warm ups
10:45 am - 12:30 pm: Festival Choir Rehearsal in the PAC recital hall
12:30 pm -1:30 pm: Lunch
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: “Sing & Share” clinic session in Ritsche auditorium
2:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Festival Choir Rehearsal
4:30 pm: Grand Finale Concert
