The department sponsors a large number of events throughout the year, promoting SCSU's music students, faculty, and guest artists. In addition, several special performances are held on campus each year, including three different festivals featuring top high school bands, choirs and orchestras from around the state and special holiday concerts. Music Scholarship Gala Concert
This annual Spring event is held in the historic Paramount Theatre and features student music ensembles, a silent auction, and all proceeds benefiting music scholarships. Through contributions to these scholarship funds, we can continue to help students with financial support of their education.
