| Description: | Fine Arts. The RSVP are graduates of the Department of Music at SCSU who studied percussion under Dr. Terry Vermillion and composition under Dr. Scott Miller. Jeremy Schreifels, Jeffrey Vigness and Derrick Raiter were all recipients of the David Swenson Foundation Scholarship in Percussion Studies and all three have gone on to professional careers in music. The RSVP was formed as a vehicle for exploring their individual compositional talents and as an outlet for performing their own works. RSVP will perform on the Music Department Convocation at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 28 and will also present a public recital that evening at 7:30 PM in the Ruth Gant Recital Hall located in the Performing Arts Center. Both the convocation and evening performances are free of charge and are suitable for all ages. Please join us in welcoming back three of our finest graduates and enjoy an evening of exciting music. | |||||
