I am honored to invite you to participate in the annual SCSU Big Sing Festival on Saturday, February 4, 2012! Your students will have the opportunity to spend the day rehearsing and singing in a select honor choir conducted by myself and guest clinician & composer Ola Gjeilo!
One of your singers will also have the opportunity to receive a private lesson with the St. Cloud State voice faculty. At the end of the day, some of the students will be selected to perform a prepared solo at the Big Sing Finale performance!
NEW THIS YEAR: SCSU Scholarship Auditions have been scheduled the same day as Big Sing! Any prospective SCSU student may audition to receive an SCSU Music Department scholarship.

I sincerely hope you and your students will be able to attend this event! It is designed to invigorate and motivate the student leaders in your choir. Please bring up to 12 students to participate. Included with this letter is an information sheet concerning the honor choir and also a registration sheet. Space is limited and we will accept registration until we are full.
