1. Is there an audition?
The band is open to all SCSU and SCTC students, faculty, staff, alumni, and high school students grades 9-12 (with permission from their band director).
2. Is the band a class?
Yes. MUSP 168 is taken by SCSU students either as a zero credit (no cost) or 1 credit class.
Sign up for Husky Sports Band MUSP 168 using the Quick Add menu choice with SCSU computer registration. Choose zero (oooo) or one credit (0100).
St. Cloud Technical College Students !
You are not required to sign up for the class, but If you do you'll be able to transfer MUSP 168 back as a General Elective.

3. How much time does it take?
Evening rehearsals are once a week with performances at selected football, basketball, and hockey games. The band does not perform at all athletic events.
4. How much does it cost?
Thanks to support from the university, the cost to members is limited to drum sticks, reeds, mouthpieces, valve oil, gloves, etc.
5. What if I need an instrument?
Rental instruments are available from the music department. Call Mr. Carroll Fisher 320-308-2236.
