Located at 827 4th Avenue South, the Dr. Richard R. Green House is named for the late educator, SCSU alum Dr. Richard R. Green, who first made his mark as the superintendent of the Minneapolis school district before moving to become the superintendent of the New York City schools. Proudly carrying the name of this great man, the Dr. Richard R. Green House is home to the Athletes for Success in the Classroom program and the Multicultural Tutoring Program. Offering students a comfortable study space and computer lab, the House is also available for group study tables and study sessions. Tutors are available for a long list of subjects and staff will do their best to honor special requests for subjects not listed. Other offerings at the Dr. Richard R. Green House are sessions on study-skills development and test-taking strategies as well as assistance with class selection and registration.
