Himal’s Testimony:
The MEM Program comprise of excellent subjects and internship opportunities for students, which help students to become successful in their career. I gained knowledge and skills about how to become a good engineer and a good manager. I acquired leadership and presentation skills. Knowledge in quality engineering, lean manufacturing, operations management, simulation, facility planning and plant layout etc, have proven extremely useful in a manufacturing environment. The course work is suitable and flexible for students with various undergraduate disciplines such as Electrical, Computer, and Mechanical Engineering etc. Projects done in class and Electrolux gave good experience. Professors are very helpful. Dr. Baliga’s readiness to help students is very impressive. I was one of the founding members of ASEM at SCSU and the First Treasurer of ASEM chapter.
