I would have to say that being enrolled in the Engineering Management program here in St Cloud State University (SCSU) is a wise choice for me. I completed my undergraduate in Electrical Engineering in University of Kentucky before starting my Engineering Management program here in SCSU. Initially, after I graduated as an electrical engineer from Kentucky, I begun to look for Master programs offered in various universities in the United States, and I came across the management program offer here in SCSU. I found out that the courses offered in Engineering Management in SCSU are concerned with student’s development in leadership and management skills, which enhanced student’s knowledge in both fields as well as in technical knowledge.
Now that I have joined the program for almost one year, I came to understand that a good engineer is not only just being technically knowledgeable in your field, but also requires one to be good in management skills. Project Management, Quality Engineering, Operation Management, Engineering Economy and other courses offered here are among the essential management tools for anybody who desires to be the best in the industry today. Speaking of being the best in the industry, Engineering Management ought to be one program that can help me achieve my dream in being not just good but an excellent future engineer or even manager. I am grateful for the excellent engineering management program that is offered here in SCSU and I know that the knowledge that I learned will contribute to the success in my near future career.
