I did my under-graduation in Industrial Engineering so I thought I would pursue my Master's in it too when I first came to the US. Later, I transferred to SCSU after seeing the growing prospects for Engineering Management and especially the flexibility in the course work. I think in today's world one has the necessity to integrate their Technical knowledge with the Managerial skills. Dr. Ben Baliga, the Director and Advisor of Engineering Management Program, provides the required motivation and creates the enthusiasm among the students which is of greatest help.
The program's core courses Operations Management, Project Management, Quality Engineering, Engineering Economics, and Engineering Management gives you an in-depth knowledge with a case-study approach which is a very efficient way of learning. The whole program is designed in a way where you can practically apply all the concepts you have learnt in class. I feel this program will help me achieve my dreams.
