- Three new programs (BS ME, MS ME, and Master of Engineering Management).
- Increasing the number of MME faculty (from three to seven).
- New faculty and department offices designed and implemented.
- Wrote grant and awarded $212k for a rapid prototyping machine.
- Developed new senior design grant submission process.
- Began discussions for a new industrial sponsored thermal science lab.
- Successful ABET 2000 EAC accreditation visit for BS MfgE and BS ME.
- Co-PI for a $245k NSF-MRI proposal for a scanning electron microscope.
- Wrote proposals for more than $220k in industry-funded projects ($185k awarded).
